Rachel Donovan (brightstar) > Longfellow Bridge. I saw many other precious sights on this guided bike tour of Boston (www.urbanadventours.com), but we were usually too intent on pedaling to stop for pictures.

Rachel Donovan (brightstar) > Lenny Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge (opened to the public in October 2002). Part of the Big Dig project, this bridge forms part of I-93. Its twin towers are meant to echo the Bunker Hill monument. Picture taken: August 2004.

Rachel Donovan (brightstar) > Wow, that bright red fire hydrant looks almost as big as I am! Oh, yeah, and behind us is the Zakim Bridge over the Charles River, the INTENDED subject of the photo :-)

Rachel Donovan (brightstar) > Ahh, sailboats on the Charles River. A soothing sight for my eyes. And the Citgo sign reminds us we're in sight of Boston (or, as in this case, actually IN Boston).
